When it was time to refill the suet feeder, I found I was unable to tip the support pole over, so I could reach it. The base is frozen to the ground!

Since the snowy ground is too uneven to try bringing over something I could stand on, I just put the suet directly on the platform feeder.

This little chickadee sees quite happy with it’s treasure!
