It’s looking really gorgeous out there!
My mother’s “living fence” has a row of hawthorns (you can see some of their berries) on one side, and a mix of caragana and oak on the other. I got a picture of a larger oak at the far end of the row of trees, with elms above it. The crab apple tree is one of the ones in the West yard. The apples do not taste very good, but the deer and birds will enjoy them. There is also the linden tree, all yellow, while the currant leaves (which I thought were gooseberry at first) are lovely shades of red.
The Re-Farmer
Beautiful! Trees are just hinting of turning color where we are … everything has been a little late this year.

We got hit with some early frosts. Not good for the garden, but the trees are looking gorgeous for it, so I guess it’s a trade off. 😁

Winter is coming. It’s getting down to 55 degrees F here at night. Rough life. 😀

It’ll get a good deal worse, lol. We’re just at the two or three week sweet spot that the South gets each fall or spring where it’s not way too hot or too cold. 🙂
