Ginger is getting to be too big to climb around on the skinny little lilac branches!
(update: when I scheduled this post, I never imagined that Ginger would soon be injured and having a front leg amputated! He is going to be an indoor cat, now. No more lilac tree climbing for him!)

I wonder if that’s how he ended up hurting his paw / leg. I could see a tumble through those branches leading to that kind of injury.

That picture was taken last month, but I tend to agree. It’s very likely to have been something like that.

I figured it was older, but that doesn’t mean he stopped doing it until he got hurt. 🙂

I’d have to agree. I suspect it was a fall from that tree. With a clear line of sight and tail balancing, cats land on their feet. In all that, not only is it hard to navigate, falling out of it would prove to be a struggle…esp. if another car was involved (Nicky).
