What’s with those humans in the window, always checking me out?
Of course, what he’s actually doing is eating a seed, but I can pretend!
All summer, the blue jays were making it hard for me to get their photos. It seemed they could tell when I was trying to focus on them and would fly off! They don’t do that so much, now that things are getting colder. 🙂
I’ll be catching up on some photos of our feeding station from late October, over the next few days. Starting with this cheeky fellow!
These go back to Thanksgiving weekend, when the blizzard was just starting to hit. Normally I would have cropped them, but you can get a sense of how much the wind was blowing around this poor blue jay!
A blue jay snagging some seeds on our platform feeder.
The one non-cat picture from August that was worth posting for critter of the day!
I just love that patterning on its wing feathers!
Backing up to the beginning of July, this blue jay is appreciating the bird bath in the heat!
… Jay is takin’ a bath.
Today, I make up for being late with my critter of the day post with quantity!
I have finally caught up on July (skipped the rest of June in the process) photos from the living room DSLR. This series of photos we were so fortunate to get go back to July 9.
This blue jay was having SO much fun cooling down in the bird bath!!!
A couple of photos going back to the end of June.
We were finally getting a really solid rainfall.
It did not stop the birds any! 😀
