He looks so handsome and regal... until he gets caught in mid chew! 😀
We have seen very few grosbeaks this year, so it was a real treat when this female pine grosbeak took a break on one of the lilac branches.
Of the group of three deer that has been visiting us, this one has the most distinctive head shape. Just look at that brow! I'm pretty sure those are antler nubs, too.
In the last batch of living room camera pictures I processed, we were delighted by the many silly deer faces we were able to catch. So for the next few days, I will be posting silly face photos. I hope they make you smile! For this first one, it's just a little tongue blep. 🙂
