I checked the files for the security camera, which is set to email images to me when the motion detector is triggered, and made an amazing discovery.
After I headed into town to pick up Chinese food for supper, there was a bit ol’ party in our driveway!
That is just wild!!!
It should be interesting when I check the gate cam files, tomorrow!

That would have been a big event, here in the suburbs! But we do have deer in our yards every now and then.

I have them in my backyard, but the dogs bark so much out front they leave.

My mom keeps telling us, we need a dog! Which I do want, but I have to remind her that my sister always had a dog, and they still had deer and other critters, getting into their garden. Lol

Some dogs are just too, hey! Come on in, let’s party! Cute to see, but not helpful for gardens. I have heard that planting marigolds will help keep deer from a garden. Not sure how well it works though.

Marigolds seem to be great for protecting gardens from a lot of things! Both critters and creepy crawlies. :-D

I think mosquitoes as well. I may need to try and get a flat of them this spring to plant about in hopes of cutting back on the pests.
