Dreading

Once we get the truck back from the shop, I’m going to need to do our stock up shopping trips.

I am really dreading to see how much higher the prices have gotten.

Even the Wokies that “escaped” the US are realizing just how bad things are getting.

Canada is in so much trouble right now.

So glad we are no longer in the city and at least have the possibility of growing our own food.

  1. Ouch. Food prices here are high, but not “crazy high”.

The garden saved us a lot of money last year and this year I’ve nearly doubled it’s size. My wife and I are hopeful the season will be good.

    • I pray you have a good growing season, too!

We have always had much higher prices than the US on just about everything. Lots of government interference (and tariffs on US goods. I still remember the softwood lumber tariff war, decades ago). We don’t even have free trade between provinces. What’s frustrating now is that the higher prices, especially on food and fuel, are 100% artificially created by our own federal government. This has been 10 years in the making. We managed to get rid of one Prime Dictator, but the Libs installed another even worse. It’s absolutely insane.
