Have you tried can food ? I used to tame my ferals that way. Would place can food out and sit out there get them used to me being around and would stay quiet and still and slowly move it closer to me and once close enough start touching them. It can take awhile and some are easier than others but just takes patience. But worth it.

Not yet. He has been going into the sun room and not running away as quickly anymore. If we could manage to close the door with just him, we could spend some time trying to bribe him with wet cat food, and not be fighting off the little ones at the same time. 😁
