While feeding the outside cats yesterday evening, I spotted Not-Junkpile and was able to get a fairly good look at the side of her neck.
She may end up with a permanent scar, but it does look like she’s healing well. No signs of infection that I can see.
That’s a relief!

That’s good to hear. I heard a fight late last night and ran to investigate. It was in the woods so I couldn’t see. I haven’t seen Momo today but she doesn’t hang out here. I’m hoping she is just hiding from the heat down at my folks place and it wasn’t here in the fight last night. Amazing how much we worry over them.

Isn’t it, though? I mean, they’re not even “our” cats. 😄 I do understand, now, why my dad loved the yard cats so much.
