Do you know what variety of grapes you have?

No idea. I asked my mother and all she could tell me was that she got them on clearance, years ago. They are most likely Valiant, but we just don’t know for sure.

I will have to check out that variety. I noticed the grapes right away and thought that since they were thriving there, they would do well here as well.

The vines are thriving, but I think the grapes are actually supposed to be much larger. When we first found them, completely buried under the spirea, the grapes were barely bigger than the seeds. They’ve been getting a bit bigger, every year since. I think, once we find a good location to transplant them into and can give them the care they need, we should eventually get table size grapes. At least, if they really are Valiant, we should!
