First sighting!

Yes! She has finally brought them out!

This evening, we had our first sighting of Slick’s babies.

All six of them.

I counted three tuxedos and three tabbies, and it turns out they live in the branch pile.

I am so glad she’s bringing them out while they’re still so small. Our chances of getting them are much, much higher now.

I’ve already been in contact with the rescue. They aren’t open to intakes, but to get a litter this young is something they will make an exception for. The chances of them getting socialized and adopted out is much higher. Plus, Slick can finally get spayed as soon as they are weaned.

Tomorrow, the girls and I will be moving the catio close to the branch pile, along with the donated cat carrier with the cat bed inside it, food and water bowls. We will do like we did with Pinky’s babies, moving it every little while to get them closer to the house and get them socialized enough to bring them in to the rescue.

Who knows. We might even get that white and grey kitten in the junk pile, too.
