Where on earth did August disappear to? I suddenly realized, just today, that we’re due to be doing our first city stock up trip THIS week!

It’s gone by so fast, it’s disorienting.

I have finally put together a garden tour video. Which is the extent of my ability to garden right now. My younger daughter took care of things in the garden for me today, again. No watering needed, as we got rain. We still have a “severe thunderstorm watch” in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow, though I expect we’ll just have more rain where we are. It’s quite windy out there right now, though. I haven’t made it outside at all today, yet. I’ve tried to call the clinic, as instructed by the ER physician, but have not been able to get through. I left a message shortly after they opened. I tried calling in the afternoon, got put on hold, then that was ended by an automated message saying they were unable to answer, either because they were closed (they were not) or too busy. It also recommended calling the health line – the one that was down when I tried calling before going to the ER – or leaving a message. I had already left one, so I did not do it again.

Being stuck inside and relatively pain free, I was able to finish editing the garden tour video, at least.
