Not too bad…
After all the storm warning and tornado watches, things weren’t too bad out here. The only real casualty was the one piece of maple that came down in the winds.

Current Conditions
For the first time, I got an automated call on our land line, with a storm warning.
Looking at the radar, it still looks like the brunt of it will miss us – a town to the north of us looks like it’s going to be hit hard. Most of the warnings are for the south east of our province.
Earlier today, a big piece of tree behind the house came down – a tree right next to the 2 we had taken down earlier this year.
I am SO glad we were able to get that done!
The piece fell harmlessly on top and behind the pile of wood of the two we took down.
Looks like it’s going to be an interesting night…
!!

Critter of the Day: Dave status
Our new indoor addition is settling in fairly well. He’s so tiny, we’ve had to supervise him rather closely, in case he got stuck somewhere. Plus, the other cats aren’t too keen on the new addition.
This is him next to my wireless phone charger. He can just barely clamber over it, when he wants to walk down the window sill. :-D
He looks almost regal and majestic, here.

I tried to say hello to one of the renter’s cows, in the old hay yard.
She was not impressed.
It’s always an amazing thing to see cows then they run.

Gate installation: it’s done!
I have the most awesome brother in the world.
He made the hour + drive out this morning to get the gate up for us, early enough that it was finished well before I drove my daughter to work! He even had enough time to swing by and join my mother for church before heading home.
What a sweetheart!
