Wow. I thought we had high winds here!
I just heard back from the Cat Lady. She was more than happy to change when we would be connecting.
Part of their roof just blew off!
Their new house has a metal roof and one of the panels went flying. Turns out the winds are higher in the city than where we are!
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the damage was minimal, all things considered.
When it comes to our own winds, I’ve got nothing to complain about!!

I’ve always wondered how the person who truly IS at the end of the line, with everybody else having it better, feels about hearing that line, LOL.

True enough!
I wonder about how that person at the bottom of that line feels hearing others around them complaining over things that are so much milder than what they are going through! Kinda like, who am I to complain about my aches and pains, when my husband lives with barely controlled levels of pain that never goes away?

True and true. Sometimes we need to vent, but it’s important to keep things in perspective also

It’s like that here. Long Beach is “protected” by the lanscape around us so it will be gorgeous here while other parts of SoCal are getting hail or mini tornadoes.
